About
My name is Mark Hofreiter. I am an emerging artist. I make oil paintings. I also draw in pen and ink and paint in watercolor. I make pictures of dreams and cartoons.
I was born in the United States, in Miami Florida on October 31st, 1952. I have lived various cities in California and Florida. As a boy I was shy and drew cartoons and built model cars, among other things.
I went to a community college during the early 70’s and took mostly art classes. Also at that time I also traveled in Europe and North America.
I continue to make pictures of dreams and cartoons. I became a draftsman and make technical drawings of factories, radios, buildings and trees.
I have shown my art in 15 or so events plus juried exhibitions and invitationals. Lastly, I have been part of art demonstration projects as well as having juried local art festivals.
